Ingredients
- ½ pound bacon cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion chopped
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 16-ounce cans pork and beans
- 1 15-ounce can kidney beans
- 1 15-ounce can lima beans
- 1 15-ounce can navy beans
- 1 15-ounce can butter beans
- 1 15-ounce can pinto beans
Instructions
- Fry bacon in skillet until crisp. Discard all fat.
- Brown ground beef and onion in same skillet.
- Drain beans (do not drain the pork and beans).
- Combine all ingredients.
- Bake, covered, at 350° for 45 minutes.
Notes
Calico beans freeze well.
