Recipe Contest Rules No purchase is necessary. This contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Sponsor: The Bean-Inspired Recipe Contest, School Meal Edition is sponsored by The Bean Institute™, which is owned and operated by the Northarvest Bean Growers Association, Frazee, MN. The contest is administered by Communique Inc, Jefferson City, MO. Contest Period: The contest begins on or about October 1, 2021, and ends October 31, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. Eligibility: The contest is open to current legal residents of the United States of America who are at least 18 years of age. Employees of the sponsor and administrator are not eligible to participate in the contest. How to Enter: Participants can enter the contest by filling out the submission form on the beaninstitute.com. Full recipe, instructions, and image is required to be eligible for prize consideration. Recipe must include at least one of the following bean varieties: dark red kidney, pinto, cranberry, navy, pink, small red, black, great northern, light red kidney, white kidney (or cannellini). Recipe should be scaled for large quantities (i.e. 50 or 100 servings) and include crediting information under the School Breakfast Program or the National School Lunch Program. Participants must provide full name, email address, and at least one social media profile. Evaluation and Winner Selection: Submissions will be evaluated and finalists will be selected by the contest administrator. The 5 finalists will have their recipe featured on the Bean Institute’s website and other platforms. Finalists will be notified (on or around November 12, 2021) and recognized based on the information submitted. The grand prize winner will receive a customized engraved wooden spoon and a Visa gift card ($25.00). The winner will be notified on or around November 17, 2021.
