Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 1.25-ounce packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 16-ounce can refried beans pinto or black
  • 1 cup (8 ounces) fat-free sour cream
  • ½ cup salsa
  • ½ cup reduced-fat cheddar cheese shredded
  • tortilla chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325° F.
  • Brown ground beef in skillet, drain grease.
  • Add taco seasoning mix and refried beans to ground beef. Stir thoroughly.
  • Grease a pie plate, spoon beef mixture into plate.
  • Mix sour cream and salsa in a small bowl. Spoon mixture over beef and spread evenly. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Bake at 325° for 20 minutes, until heated through.
  • Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Serve hot with tortilla chips. Hot sauce or additional salsa, optional.
